Steps to make chess pieces:
Note we love using Bright White and Dark Mint Candy wafers by Make n Mold available at Hobby Lobby
1. Heat chocolate melts in a small container in the microwave in 10 second intervals stirring in between. We also like to use candy melt pots, these can be very helpful!
2. Once smooth, spoon the chocolate into the mold cavities.
3. Tap mold to settle and scrape any excess off
4. Place in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
5. Remove from the refrigerator and flip mold to release chocolates (for larger pieces cup your hand close to the mold to keep pieces from falling out and breaking). Repeat steps 1-5 as desired.
6. To glue a pair together, use a small brush to apply some melted chocolate to the middle of one piece half and squeeze them together. Use a small knife to clean the edges.
