This camp includes:
✅ 12 hours of instruction
✅ Learning from decades of experience
✅ A Camp Decorating Kit (this is optional for in-person attendees). Kit comes with :
- Fondant
- Gel colors (rose pink, sky blue, violet)
- Under the sea molds
- Sugar pearls
- Fondant roller and smoother
- Cake board
- Non-skid pad
- Piping bags, tips, and tip cleaner
- Skewers
- Follow along recipes
Our schedule:
⏰ Day 1 morning - Bake the cake
⏰ Day 1 afternoon - Mold fondant decorations
⏰ Day 2 morning - Prepare buttercream
⏰ Day 2 afternoon - Decorate the cake!
Lunch breaks will be in the middle of the day (around noon) and will be a Q&A session on all things cake!
What you will need
For virtual attendees:
Ingredients
➡️ 1 Vanilla cake mix (any brand such as Philsbury or Betty Crocker)
➡️ 1 Jello Vanilla instant pudding 3 ounce size (not Cook and Serve)
➡️ 1/2 cup of oil (Canola is prefered)
➡️ 4 Eggs
➡️ 1 1/2 cups of butter
➡️ 3 lbs powdered sugar
➡️ 1 tbsp. vanilla
➡️ Flour for dusting pans (about 2 tablespoons or so)
➡️ Optional: 1/2 cup of Buttermilk
Equipment & materials
➡️ Two 6” cake pans and grease (included in Optional Cake Kit)
➡️ Offset spatula (included in Optional Cake Kit)
➡️ Mixer (hand or standing mixer) and oven
➡️ Optional: Cake turntable (included in Optional Cake Kit)
➡️ Optional: Bench scrapper (included in Optional Cake Kit)
